Comprar un bar\u00edtono es una decisi\u00f3n seria: hay que resolver la <strong>extensi\u00f3n hasta el La grave (low A) o el Sib grave (low Bb)<\/strong>, contar con el <strong>peso y el arn\u00e9s<\/strong> y un mayor presupuesto. Esta gu\u00eda ordena la elecci\u00f3n con modelos disponibles en Espa\u00f1a y precios orientativos (2026).<\/p>\n\n<h2>Low A vs low Bb \u2014 la decisi\u00f3n clave<\/h2>\n<p>Los bar\u00edtonos se diferencian por la nota m\u00e1s grave alcanzable:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Low Bb (hasta el Si\u266d grave)<\/strong> \u2014 extensi\u00f3n \u00abcorta\u00bb hist\u00f3rica. El instrumento es <strong>m\u00e1s ligero y \u00e1gil<\/strong> (campana m\u00e1s corta), de sonido m\u00e1s libre y pasajes r\u00e1pidos m\u00e1s f\u00e1ciles. Suficiente para jazz, pop y toque solista; hoy se encuentra sobre todo en modelos vintage \/ de segunda mano.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Low A (hasta el La grave)<\/strong> \u2014 a\u00f1ade un semitono m\u00e1s grave (campana alargada y llave adicional). Es el <strong>est\u00e1ndar en big band<\/strong> y en buena parte del repertorio de banda\/orquesta moderno (l\u00edneas de bajo). El instrumento es m\u00e1s largo, m\u00e1s pesado y algo m\u00e1s caro.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Recomendaci\u00f3n:<\/strong> si tocas o vas a tocar en big band \/ secci\u00f3n, elige <strong>low A<\/strong> (versatilidad). En el mercado nuevo espa\u00f1ol encontrar\u00e1s casi siempre <strong>low A<\/strong>; el low Bb se ve sobre todo en ocasi\u00f3n\/vintage.<\/p>\n\n<h2>Peso y arn\u00e9s \u2014 la cuesti\u00f3n pr\u00e1ctica<\/h2>\n<p>El bar\u00edtono pesa unos 6 kg y <strong>no se lleva c\u00f3modo con una simple correa de cuello<\/strong>. Hace falta un <strong>arn\u00e9s (harness)<\/strong> que reparta el peso en hombros y espalda (p. ej. Neotech o BG). Ninguno de los modelos siguientes incluye arn\u00e9s de serie (solo correa simple), as\u00ed que <strong>presupuesta unos 30\u201380 \u20ac extra<\/strong>.
